So, I realize it’s almost our one year anniversary, (YAY!), but I have to show you pictures from our wedding!

The color palette and inspiration for the wedding started with a fabulous article in Martha Stewart Weddings on sherbet hues.  I loved them all, and it went along with my love of color.

I love letterpress, especially on really thick paper.  I designed our invitations and printed them on 220 lb. Crane Lettera paper.  They are like beautiful paper clouds.  The RSVP card has a Mad Lib style response.  We got back some really sweet answers and some really funny ones.

The dress was perfect, comfortable, simple, and it had POCKETS!!!

Of course it needed a little more glitz, so some gorgeous rhinestone trim from MJ Trims solved that.

Something old – heirloom hankie.  Something new – vintage earrings I found on Etsy (well, new to me!).  Something borrowed – diamond horseshoe pendant from my grandmother.  Something blue – shoe clips.

For the ceremony arch, I made fabric pinwheels and mixed them with paper fans and garland.  Glass Glitter L-O-V-E finished it off.

We released balloons to honor family and friends who could not be with us.  The over-sized bouquet had glittered free spirit roses and lots of fun details.

Our signature cocktail was a spritzer of champagne, cucumber and mint.

The wedding cake was tasty, but the groom’s cake was an ice cream cake!

Every table was full of flowers, and each one was different.

Candy centerpieces and kraft paper for the kids’ tables.  We picked up a bunch of silly games and toys to keep the kids occupied.  The servers brought something different around with each dinner course.  I think some of the adults were jealous they didn’t get games with dinner.

I love this picture of my parents, and I know in 30 years Q and I will still be this happy!
